To Bury/Lose A Human/Friend

You are a robot living in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is disappearing. A human created/fixed you for some reason despite their tough living situation.

Last night, they succumbed to an infection. You have trouble understanding if they’re just an inevitable casualty or if you cannot comprehend that you’ve lost a companion.

This morning, you set off with a makeshift coffin on your back in order to [bury/lose] a [human/friend].

To Bury/Lose A Human/Friend is a solo journaling and hex-crawling RPG game made for One-Page RPG Jam 2023, the rules fit on just one page, but a map is provided as well if you'd like to print it out on the other side of the page together. Inspired heavily by 'Rubber Human' by Mili, document your journey and your surroundings while trying to find the perfect gifts for a burial and questioning who the person was to you; are they just another human or someone more than that?

In addition to this, you'll require the following to play the game:

• A pen/pencil
• Two six-sided dice (d6)
• Somewhere to write your journey of self-reflection on
